Facial Fillers

Also known as a “liquid facelift,” facial fillers can temporarily provide the benefits of a surgical procedure without the down-time or recovery. Dr. Sumit Sitole offers Radiesse and Juvederm as temporary facial rejuvenation alternatives that can soften facial creases and add volume. Radiesse and Juvederm offer different benefits and can be used to treat different areas of the face.

Juvederm vs. Radiesse

Juvederm is hyaluronic acid filler that is used primarily to hydrate and augment facial tissue. Juvederm is frequently used to enhance the nasal folds, lips, brows or hollowing under the eyes. Radiesse offers a firmness and support that can be beneficial for issues that require more structural support. Radiesse is often used for enhancing the cheeks.

Facial Fillers Procedure

Similar to Botox Injections, a thorough understanding of the underlying structures of the affected areas will ensure the very best results. After applying a numbing cream to the treatment area to enhance patient comfort, injections are strategically made to the designated areas to add volume, reduce wrinkles, and minimize deep folds.

Facial Fillers Results

Patients can typically see results immediately following the injections, but results will improve as Facial Fillers begin to settle. The results from both Radiesse and Juvederm are temporary and repeat injections will be necessary to maintain a rejuvenated and more youthful appearance.

As the only FDA-approved drug proven to encourage eyelash growth, Latisse is a revolutionary eyelash treatment that can help clients who may suffer from thinning eyelashes. As one of a woman’s most feminine qualities, women spend hours and hundreds of dollars on mascara, fake eyelashes, and eyelash curlers each year. In many cases, the improper usage of eyelash curlers and the daily use of mascara can actually cause the eyelashes to become brittle and fall out. Dr. Sumit Sitole’s supervision, Latisse can help women regain fuller and longer lashes.

While improper usage of eyelash curlers and daily use of mascara can damage eyelashes, the natural aging process can also cause eyelashes to lose fullness, length, and darkness. Regardless of the reason, nightly treatments of Latisse can help your eyelashes to grow stronger and longer as well as stimulate the growth of new eyelashes, to create a full and long eyelash appearance.

Application of Latisse and Results

Latisse is a topical treatment that is applied to the base of the eyelid. Similar to applying liquid eye liner, patients apply Latisse daily to achieve the very best results. In as little as 4 weeks, patients begin to see a difference in the appearance of their eyelashes, but the full effects of Latisse are typically seen after 16 weeks of daily treatments. To maintain the new fuller eyelash appearance, Latisse treatments will need to continue. Once Latisse treatments are ended, the normal appearance of the eyelashes will return.

Lip Enhancements

A lip enhancement is a non-surgical technique performed to alter the appearance of lips, creating a fuller, more luscious look, while diminishing fine lines and wrinkles around the periorbital region. Lip fillers used, similar to Volbella, are hyaluronic acid based, which allows for a temporary natural looking result. This technique is often
accompanied by our professional lip treatment, which targets dryness and fine lines. This moisture rich treatment will leave lips feeling plump, hydrated, and happy.

Lip Enhancement Results

Patients can typically see results immediately following the injections, but results will improve as the filler begins to settle. The results from the filler are temporary and repeat injections will be necessary to maintain a rejuvenated and more youthful appearance.

Kybella is a non-surgical treatment that improves the appearance of moderate to severe submental fullness, also known as the double chin. Kybella is composed of deoxycholic acid and is specifically designed to target fat cells, ultimately improving your profile. Men and women alike can experience submental fullness from weight gain, genetics, or aging. To achieve desired results, many patients undergo a series of 2-6 treatments over the course of several months.

Kybella Procedure

Similar to other aesthetic treatments, a thorough understanding of the underlying structures of the affected areas will ensure the very best results. Dr. Sitole will start by marking and measuring the exact area he will inject Kybella. From here, a topical numbing cream and/or ice packs will be placed on the skin to enhance comfort. Then, Dr. Sitole will create a grid essentially creating a map of ensuring precise injection. Once the injections have taken place, we clean the grid previously created off the skin. Over the course of 6-8 weeks, Kybella will be slowly breaking down the
fat cells in the target area. The next treatment will take place in the same area after only about 7 weeks.

Kybella Results

Kybella is a non-invasive procedure with long-lasting, quick results. Because each patient is unique, results may very, but most will begin to see a notable difference in the first 4-6 weeks. After all treatments are complete, patients will notice a thinner, more contoured facial profile.

Microneedling & Exosomes

Our microneedling device, SkinPen By Bellus Medical,  is the first microneedling device in the world cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. With as few as three non-invasive and affordable treatments spaced 30 days apart, you can improve your skins’ appearance and step out with confidence.

Microneeding and PRP, also known as a vampire facial, is a type of facial that involves using a clients own PRP, or platelet rich plasma. Platelet rich plasma is taken from their own blood. After microneedling, the PRP is massaged into the skin. PRP contains high levels of growth factors, which, when applied to the skin, will stimulate cell turnover. The benefits of a vampire facial are reduction of fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, or other skin abnormalities.

Microneedling & Exosome Procedure

Each procedure will start with the client meeting with our Esthetician and discussing desired results, expectations, and areas of concern. These brief discussions before each encounter are designed to ensure we are creating a customized experience and providing our clients with the best possible result. This brief consultation typically takes place while the numbing cream is activating on the skins’ surface. This gentle topical numbing cream allows our clients to be at the utmost comfort level during their treatment.

Throughout the treatment, Exosomes are spread over the face, as opposed to another procedural glide. Once the treatment is complete, we lather the skin with a post procedure approved product such as Alastin SkinCare’s Skin Nectar, or the remaining Exosome solution. For clients who purchase any of our Microneedling packages, you will be sent home with our Alastin Skincare post procedure kit. Because most clients opt to treat the face, neck, and décolleté, he or she can expect to be in our office for an average of 60 minutes.

What Are Exosomes?

Exosomes are responsible for cell to cell communication and facilitate the exchange of RNA and other important proteins between cells. Additionally, Exosomes transfer growth factors and other genetic materials that are responsible for tissue repair and improving skin cells. Exosomes are clinically proven to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, overall brightness and hydration, redness and skin irritation, skin lesions and scars, and skin texture and pore size. During your microneedling treatment, exosomes can be spread over the treatment area to penetrate the skin and reach the various skin layers needed for optimal results.

Botox is a non-surgical treatment that is designed to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles and is the most common non-surgical cosmetic procedure performed in the United States. Unlike traditional facial fillers, Botox isn’t designed to add volume. Patients seeking Botox injections often suffer from traditional signs of aging, including crow’s feet, fine lines that develop over time, and frown lines. Botox actually works by weakening underlying facial muscles. By directly targeting wrinkle causing muscles, unwanted lines and wrinkles can be greatly diminished over a period of time.

Botox is a purified substance that weakens the muscle so that it no longer contracts by blocking nerve signals to the wrinkle-causing muscles. By keeping these wrinkle-causing muscles from contracting, fine lines and wrinkles are much less visible. It is important to note that there are 43 facial muscles that can contribute to wrinkles and fine lines throughout the face. For this reason, it is essential that a trained professional perform Botox injections. Dr. Sumit Sitole has a thorough understanding of the wrinkle-causing muscles around the eyes and mid-face that allows him to directly target wrinkle-causing muscles.

Botox Results

As a minimally invasive procedure, Botox injections can be performed without patients having to endure down-time or recovery following injections. As the muscles in the face begin to relax, the full results of Botox Injections will begin to become more apparent, and facial lines and wrinkles will reduce. The effects of Botox are temporary, and after 3 to 5 months the treated muscles will resume their function, and wrinkles and fine lines will return. To ensure long-lasting results, repeated treatments are necessary.

Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) Injections

PRF, different than the traditional PRP, is the process of using your own cells instead of a synthetic alternative for a more youthful, fresh appearance. PRF injections stimulate our long-term natural production of collagen and elastin growth, while improving skins’ tone and texture.

PRF Injection Procedure

PRF injections can be accomplished in a few short steps. First, clients are brought back to our minor procedure room and seated in our procedure bed. One of our staff members will prep the client for a quick blood draw. The vials of the collected blood are then spun down in our centrifuge to reveal the cell and nutrient-rich fibrin. Compared to PRP, PRF is spun at a slower speed allowing more platelets, leukocytes (WBC), and mesenchymal stem cells per mcL. The fibrin is injected into hollow areas of the face, including the under eye area and cheeks. Over the course of 2-4 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart, patients will begin to notice the long-lasting results.

This aesthetic procedure can be done alone or can be combined with other injectables including filler. If clients opt to mix a filler and PRF, he or she can expect to see short-term volume in the areas they’re adding filler, improved skin texture and tone in the injected areas, and a long-term increase in volume as the fibrin from the PRF injections work to build more collagen and elastin . This technique is typically repeated annually (or as needed) , but for some areas, may require more treatments to achieve the desired result.
